It's interesting that a simple task we do in life carries with it a story for each individual. I remember I started doing my own laundry when I was 13 or 14. I didn't like the way my mom would do it. She'd shrink the clothes in the dryer I'd separate to hang dry and always used bleach carelessly so that clothes had spots on them here and there. I didn't want my clothes ruined so I did them myself and now won't let anyone else do it for me.
